Project funding: Research Council of Lithuania, Postdoctoral Fellowships
Principal investigator: Justina Šetkutė
Supervisor: Ali B. Mahmoud
Project description:
This project investigates at a strategic level digital technology adoption, application and impact in small firms and identifies the barriers and enablers for digitalisation. It considers the internal and external factors affecting firms’ decision to adopt the digital technology; examines how small firms integrate and apply digital technology into their business practices through business models; and evaluates the existing or potential impact of digital technology. It builds on B2B SMEs research, which demonstrates these firms are influenced by both internal and external factors arising from their SME and B2Bcontexts and therefore they operate in unique way.
