Dr. Adomas Klimantas
Adomas is an educator and researcher focusing on long term economic growth, economic history and migration economics. In his works he estimated the first reliable GDP time-series for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia covering 1919-1995. His major contribution is provision of internationally and intertemporally comparable GDP per capita PPP statistics for the Baltic states which can be used in long-run macroeconomic research covering more than 100 years. He continues research in this field and is engaged in educational activities in related subjects as an ISM lecturer and independent speaker at schools and public events. Additionally, he works as a cartography designer at MapKlimantas and is a co-founder at UVIRESO.
