Massimo Preziuso joined ISM University of Management and Economics in 2025 as an Associate Professor in Finance. His research focuses on sustainable finance and technology, particularly examining the synergies and impacts of financial technology on sustainability issues such as social inclusion, climate and environmental concerns. Since 2018, Massimo has held advanced teaching and research positions at various higher education institutions in the UK and EU.
He earned his PhD in economics and project finance from LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, which included a visiting research period at the London School of Economics. His academic background also includes an MEng in industrial management engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, an MSc in e-business management from the Polytechnic of Turin, and an MSc in public finance from Roma La Sapienza.
Beyond academia, Massimo collaborates with several international organisations, including UNESCO’s International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI), the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and FENASBAC, the innovation and research arm of the Central Bank of Brazil.
