Sandra Polanía-Reyes is an Associate Professor of Economics at University of Navarra. Colombian of origin, she has taught microeconomics and experimental economics at the University College London in the UK, Sustainable development at University of Notre Dame in US, Economics of Collective Action at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, and Development Economics at U Navarra. As a development economist she is working at the intersection of experimental economics and prosocial behavior. In her work, she applies lab and field experimental methods to the design and evaluation of effective behaviorally informed policy interventions that promote prosocial behavior. She has 17 years of experience conducting experiments in the field in low- and middle-income
communities. Polanía-Reyes holds a PhD in Economics from University College London and a PhD in Political Economy from University of Siena. She also holds a degree in economics and anthropology and a master in Economics from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).
