As a founder he has been behind both Skyflare GmbH, a cybersecurity company preventing fraud in e-commerce and also the Internet-of-Things startup Rysta GmbH. Prior to that, he was Head of Operations at KIWI.KI GmbH, a successful German PropTech. He holds a degree in mechatronics engineering, a master´s degree in modern languages, a master’s degree in production engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, and a PhD in Managerial Economics from HHL Leipzig. In 2025 he was appointed a Professorship in Smart Building Technology and Sustainability.
