He began his professional journey by establishing a high-tech production strategy for a floriculture startup in South Asian region. He moved to academia with a PhD in Biotechnology from Zhejiang University, China. His interest in the commercial side of scientific research led him to earn an MBA from Durham University Business School in the UK.He possesses an interdisciplinary teaching and research portfolio. He takes courses on digital strategy, digital transformation and agile project management involving digital management methods such as design thinking, Scrum and Lean Startup. His research interests include innovation management, digital health and the application of agile methods in organizations. He has received numerous research and conference grants and presented across a number of institutions including Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Rice University, Houston.Dr Minullah is a polyglot with a rich multicultural experience gained while traveling and living in numerous countries for his education and research. His teaching philosophy combines elements of learning that he imbibed from his early education with theoretical and experiential learning using hands-on activities in the classroom to foster creative thinking and problem solving. He loves running and playing squash.
