Dr. Pijus Krūminas completed his Ph.D. in Economics at ISM University of Management and Economics and his Master’s degree in Political Science at Vytautas Magnus University. His areas of interest primarily involve questions at the intersection of these social sciences, particularly from the perspective of game theory. Methodologically, Pijus is also interested in the development and application of simulation games in education and professional environments. Pijus has been involved in teaching for nearly ten years.

In addition to teaching and academic research, Pijus conducts commissioned public policy research for Lithuanian and European institutions in the fields of innovation and digitalization policy at the research company „Visionary Analytics.” He has experience in analytical work in the public sector. He has collaborated with institutions such as the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation and Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, the Joint Research Centre, the European Space Agency, and various ministries of the Republic of Lithuania.
