Dr. Raimonda Alonderienė defended her doctoral dissertation titled “The Impact of Managers’ Self-directed Learning on Company Performance” at ISM University of Management and Economics. Raimonda Alonderienė holds a professorship at ISM. She is also the Director of People and Organization Development at the US programming services company Devbridge.

Raimonda Alonderienė has been invited to teach at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia; FHS St. Gallen, Switzerland; Manchester Metropolitan University, UK; FHWien University of Applied Sciences, Austria; Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, Germany; Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Germany; and Estonian Business School, Estonia. She participates in international research projects and conferences and writes business cases and articles.

A business case co-authored by Raimonda Alonderienė and Margarita Pilkienė, titled “Laura at Panevėžys Juozas Balčikonis Gymnasium” (about onboarding a new employee), was among the top ten cases in the 2013 Emerald and CEEMAN case competition. Raimonda Alonderienė is actively involved in lifelong learning activities, having enhanced her competencies at the International Management Teachers Academy in Slovenia, as well as in Switzerland, the UK, Germany, Estonia, Poland, Austria, and seminars led by professors Geert Hofstede, Chris Brewster, Arshad Ahmad, JB Kassarjian, Joe Pons, Jim Ellert, Tony Buono, Paul E.M. Ligthart, Trevor Williamson, and Gareth Morgan.

Raimonda Alonderienė’s research areas include human resource management and development, lifelong learning, self-directed learning, learning communities, generational differences in organizations, leadership, and project management. Together with her colleagues, she received the ISM Research Team of the Year award (2018) for publications in high-ranking international journals. In 2019, for the international research project Balanced Leadership in Projects (project leader Prof. Dr. Ralf Muller, BI Norwegian Business School; Lithuanian representatives in the project were ISM researchers Margarita Pilkienė, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alfredas Chmieliauskas, Prof. Dr. Raimonda Alonderienė, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saulius Šimkonis), the International Project Management Association (IPMA) awarded them in the category IPMA Research Award.
