Dr. Silviu Ursu

Silviu Ursu, PhD, is Associate Professor in Financial Markets at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi and Visiting Professor in Financial Markets and Institutions at ISM University of Management and Economics since 2007. His teaching and research activities have focused so far on the study of financial systems, shadow banking and evolution in the nature of financial intermediation, resulting in several articles, papers and books. Silviu has been invited speaker and scholar in distinguished institutions and programs, including Said Business School at University of Oxford, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Groningen, Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, University of Bifrost, University of Montenegro and the Romanian Academy.
