Associate Professor Dr. Eigirdas Žemaitis is the director of „Entrepreneurship and Innovation“ bachelor’s programme. He gained his PhD at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. In 2016-2017 Eigirdas completed an internship in China at the „University of Geosciences”.Dr. Eigirdas Žemaitis has over 15 years of teaching experience. He was a lecturer at Kazimieras Simonavičius University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Mykolas Riomeris University and Vilnius University’s Business School.Before starting his academic career, Eigirdas worked as a project consultant at the Lithuanian Innovation Center, where his interest in innovation began. At that time, Dr. Eigirdas Žemaitis worked with Lithuanian companies, that implemented innovations and looked for partners in Europe. He has also worked on many projects in the EU’s research programme/Dr. Eigirdas Žemaitis is often invited as a guest speaker in various types of conferences.  He is also actively involved in mentoring hackathons and contributing to entrepreneurship education.
